Matty
I was born outside and when I was 7 weeks old
was dropped over into a yard with this dog that was barking and scaring
me. Then this strange 2 legged animal walked out pulled the dog away from
me then took me inside. She carried me upstairs to a second 2 legged animal
who took me cuddled me and loved me. She told me if my mommy and owner
wasn't outside I would have a home. Mommy was not there nor was the former
owner who had tossed me over the fence. The third 2 legged animal came
home and told me I had a new home. That first day they didn't have any
litter or food or anything to give me so they gave me chicken and milk
and took me outside every few hours to let me do my business as my primary
servant puts it. The next day I was given a box to sleep in a new litter
box and new food. They took me to a scary place where they dewormed me
and made sure I was ok. Two weeks later they got me a carrier which is
now the first floor of my apartment building. The box is the second floor.
Here is my latest update on my story. I now
have a best buddy you will find out all about her in her section of Pet
Collective Her name is Tituba. I also have a covered litter box that
I share with her and make sure my servents keep cleaned out. Also have
2 hand made rugs for beds and plans to have our very own cat room with
a sign saying NO DOGS ALLOWED AND THAT MEANS YOU BOGEY!!! If we can
make our servents listen and put it up. We presently sleep half the
time in a cat room that they call the bathroom and in my mother's room
depending on how tired she is at night. My grandfather is going to
be building us a cat tower for our new cat room and we will have alot
of boxes that we will be able to sleep on and jump off of to attack
each other since we are "allowing" our servents to use part
of the room for storage. Now just to claw them into action to finish
the room.
I now have to put up with another DOG. His
name is Rusty. He is not learning his lessons well. I tell him time and
time again NOT to come into my room and not to chase me. What does he do
he comes in my room and takes my mother's attention away from he and then
he chases me.
Of course, my humans defend me and make that dumb dog leave me alone. At
least I have them well trained. Now just to get that dumb dog trained.
I also now hav a cat condo, my personal Air Conditioner that I let my mother
share. A box on a perch at the top of my mother's bed. I have my own personal
food dish, water dish, and weekly Fancy Feast. We also get to enjoy real
salmon, tuna, and chicken on a weekly bases. Monthly we get some Cod. :-)
Aren't we the most spoiled children.
